Healthcare in Africa is a story of extremes. On one hand, the continent has some of the youngest populations in the world, a wave of entrepreneurs pushing bold ideas, and technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain opening new possibilities. On the other hand, hospitals are underfunded, doctors are leaving in record numbers, and millions of people still live far from a functioning clinic.
